CRAP

C.R.A.P

So now you’re going to learn the names of four of the main design principles that can be applied to any design piece at all. You are going to be in control of your pages and website as a whole.
The following is a brief overview of the principles. Although these are discussed separately, keep in mind they are really interconnected, rarely will you apply only one principle.

 Contrast
The idea behind contrast is to avoid elements on the page that are merely similar. If the elements (type, color, size, line thickness, shape, space, etc.) are not the same, then make them very different. Contrast is often the most important visual attraction on a page.

Repetition
Repeat visual elements of the design throughout the piece. You can repeat color, shape, texture, spatial relationships, line thicknesses, sizes, etc. This helps develop the organization and strengthens the unity.

Alignment
Nothing should be placed on the page arbitrarily. Every element should have some visual connection with another element on the page. This creates a clean, sophisticated, fresh took.

Proximity
Items relating to each other should be grouped close together. When several items are in close proximity to each other, they become one visual unit rather than several separate units. This helps organize information and reduces clutter.

Contrast, Repetition, Alignment, Proximity = CRAP
When you gather these four principles of design theory, the appropriate and memorable acronym is CRAP.

types of websites

Types of websites

Static website

A static website is one that has web pages stored on the server in the format that is sent to a client web browser. It is primarily coded in Hypertext Markup Language, HTML. Simple forms or marketing examples of websites, such as classic website, a five-page website or a brochure website are often static websites, because they present pre-defined, static information to the user. This may include information about a company and its products and services via text, photos, animations, audio/video and interactive menus and navigation. This type of website usually displays the same information to all visitors. Similar to handing out a printed brochure to customers or clients, a static website will generally provide consistent, standard information for an extended period of time. Although the website owner may make updates periodically, it is a manual process to edit the text, photos and other content and may require basic website design skills and software.

Flash Websites

A Flash website is one that uses Adobe Flash, a program that requires every user to have a browser plug in to view the website. The real benefit of a Flash website is that you can use advanced animation, music and video. They are brilliant for showcasing your work and mean any fonts and images can be used on the site. The drawbacks are that they are not indexed well by the search engines (meaning poor performance in search listings i.e. people will not be able to find you on Google et. al.) and that they are not very accessible or easy to update.

Content Management

A Content Management is a web-based tool to allow any authorised user access to edit the website. The idea behind a CMS is that day-to-day maintenance is handled by the client who, typically, has no prior experience in web page programming. By using modern programming languages and WYSIWYG (pronounced ‘wizzy wig’ - meaning ‘What You See Is What You Get’) editors look and work in a similar way to Microsoft Word, but convert the content in HTML (the language of the web).We find that people who are proficient in Word can easily work our CMSs with the ability to create new content, add content, insert images and basically control what is in the website.A database powered CMS will store the content of the web page in a database table, meaning it’s searchable and can have various meta data attached to it. It also means that you can have various version of the same page (for example, the live version, older versions and perhaps a new version that is not yet complete.) This makes a CMS a very powerful tool for managing the site content.

Dynamic websites

Dynamic websites rely on server side scripting to provided advanced interactivity and usually use a database to deliver the content for individual pages. A dynamic approach is appropriate for developing large websites with content which is formulaic, for example, catalogues, photograph albums and complex series of data. A dynamic website will be required to allow users to sort and search records, or to restrict access to parts of the website using a log-in procedure.

eCommerce websites

An eCommerce website is a dynamic website which has the functionality to process financial transactions. Most e Commerce websites are built to mimic a bricks and mortar store and use the model of stock pages, shopping basket system and checkout, using a secure online payment system.

DIV and SPAN

In HTML, the span and div elements are used where parts of a document cannot be semantically described by other HTML elements.
Most HTML elements carry semantic meaning – i.e. the element describes, and can be made to function according to, the type of data contained within. For example, a p element should contain a paragraph of text, while an h1 element should contain the highest-level heading of the page; user agents should distinguish them accordingly. However, as span and div have no innate semantic meaning besides the logical grouping of the content, they can be used to specify non-standard presentation or behaviour without superfluous semantic meaning.
There is one difference between div and span. In standard HTML, a div is a block-level element whereas a span is an inline element. The div block visually isolates a section of a document on the page, in the same way as a paragraph. The span element contains a piece of information inline with the surrounding text. In practice, even this feature can be changed by the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
<DIV>
The <div> tag defines a division or a section in an HTML document.
The <div> tag is often used to group block-elements to format them with styles.
<SPAN>
The <span> tag is used to group inline-elements in a document.
The <span> tag provides no visual change by itself.
The <span> tag provides a way to add a hook to a part of a text or a part of a document.

Education

 2 more years
"Education is the best weapon in battle field of life"
Nowadays many of our  countrymen are hard to find a job that fits to their personality and knowledge that they know.So our economic got lower and the poverty is rise. And many of our future generation is not studying in school but they are in the streets, in dump site they work for their family to have a meal that prepare in their  table it is an effect of poverty in our country. So our President Benigno "Noynoy" Simeon Cojuanco-Aquino III want to add a two more years in secondary level or in other term Senior High school. Because in whole world Philippines is the only country that have a 10 years studies in school of the students. It is called "K-12" or Kindergarten + 12 years program of our government and our President Noynoy Aquino. But the question is "It is favor in the poor family?".
It is additional education because in this program it help us to find a job  easily even in local or foreign.Because it test our skills in different field of study. It is more applicable because even if you did not finish your study in college you can find a work in any places.
It is additional suffering for poor family because they cannot afford it. and they believe that it is more sacrifice to them. And in lazy student because they need much time in school than doing their favorite activities.

good husband for my mother that always give love for him in what way he is. He is amazing because
instead he is with us he chooses to go in other country to work because he want to give us a good future. I loved him not only in words but also in my heart.

Second, my beloved mother her name is Imelda De Guzman. A good housewife and a good mother not
only in me but also in my brothers and sister that always there to guide us. I amazed her because she
continually taking care for us even he is so tired for us. I loved her just the way she is in my heart in my
soul. She is also a superhero for me because she can do anything for us and in our own goodness.

In describing my parents they loved one another. They share their problem in each other so they can

easily to solve it. They make a family with a strength foundation that cannot be destroy by anyone. They
give inspiration in me also in my siblings so I want to be a achiever so he see that I gave importance to
their love and hard work that they give to me.

Third, my siblings there name is Aaron De Guzman, Jezeel De Guzman, Mark De Guzman, Carl De
Guzman they also important to me not because they are my siblings but also I recognize them my friend
